Getting to the French Riviera
There are several
ways of reaching the French Riviera; the most
popular lately is by air. Nice Côte D'Azur
(approximateky 35km away) is the nearest airport,
and takes 30 minutes to reach by car on the A8
Autoroute. You may also fly into Hyeres/Toulon
or Marseille but the journey time to Hotelair
is approximately 2 hours from these airports.

By air
The airlines that fly into Nice
from the UK change every summer but here are a
few of the popular ones that my clients used last
summer:
Easy Jet (www.easyjet.com):
from Luton, Stansted, Gatwick,
Bristol,
Newcastle and Liverpool
British Airways (www.ba.com):
from Heathrow and Gatwick
British Midland (www.bmi.com):
from Heathrow and East Midlands
Jet 2
(www.jet2.com):
from Leeds/Bradford
and Manchester
Aer Lingus
(www.aerlingus.com):
from Dublin

By rail
An alternative to flying or driving
is to use the train. You can even put your car
on the train. Trains can be picked up at several
places in Northern France including Calais and
Paris, and you can travel to Avignon, Frejus or
Nice.

By car
Travelling by car to Hotelair
will take you approximately 10 to 16 hours on
the road from ports such as Calais, Dieppe or
Le Havre, so we would always recommend an overnight
stop on the way. Auto Route tolls cost approximately
90 each way.
Remember to drive on the RIGHT
in France. Speed Limits in France are as follows:
